Shiv Nadar University ups scholarships, announces new subject streams

New Delhi, May 22, 2014: Shiv Nadar University (SNU) -- the educational outreach of  one of India's pioneering IT entrepreneurs --  has set aside Rs 310 million in scholarships even as it  announced the addition of two new undergraduate programs in History and Sociology. 
The University is now inviting applications to all undergraduate programs for the academic year 2014-15 across the Schools of Humanities & Social Sciences (Economics, English, History and Sociology), Natural Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology and Mathematics) and Engineering (Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communications, Mechanical, Civil and Chemical Engineering). The last date of receiving application forms for the undergraduate programs is June 6, 2014.
The increase its undergraduate scholarship fund  represents a 34% increase over the previous year. Scholarships at SNU cover full or partial educational and living expenses for the entire duration of the 4-year undergraduate programme.
